Pengajaran Usul al-Fiqh yang menjadi subtopik dalam Pendidikan Syariah Islamiah di Malaysia sering dianggap sukar difahami oleh pelajar. Oleh itu, penyelidikan ini bertujuan untuk memperkenalkan pendekatan pengajaran dan pembelajaran kontekstual Usul al-Fiqh, memfokuskan kepada peningkatan kerelevanan dan kesesuaian dalam pengajaran semasa. Melalui sorotan literatur dan analisis kajian lepas, penyelidikan ini meneroka potensi aplikasi kaedah kontekstual dalam pengajaran Usul al-Fiqh. Berdasarkan kajian, tujuh komponen utama digabungkan secara ideal dalam pengajaran Usul al-Fiqh, menawarkan rangka kerja yang koheren untuk menghubungkan teori dengan aplikasi praktikal. Penyelidikan ini memberi asas kepada pembangunan kurikulum dan strategi pengajaran yang lebih berkesan dalam bidang Usul al-Fiqh, serta membuka jalan kepada penyelidikan lanjut mengenai pengintegrasian kaedah kontekstual dalam bidang pengajian Islam. Pengajaran dan pembelajaran kontekstual dalam Usul al-Fiqh diharap dapat menawarkan penyelesaian yang memberangsangkan bagi meningkatkan kualiti Pendidikan Syariah Islamiah di Malaysia yang berpotensi untuk menghidupkan semula pengajaran mata pelajaran ini dan meningkatkan kaitannya dengan generasi pelajar masa kini.

Abstract

 

Teaching Usul al-Fiqh which is a subtopic in Islamic Sharia Education in Malaysia is often considered difficult for students to understand. Therefore, this research aims to introduce the contextual teaching and learning approach of Usul al-Fiqh, focusing on increasing the relevance and appropriateness in current teaching. Through literature highlights and analysis of previous studies, this research explores the potential application of contextual methods in the teaching of Usul al-Fiqh. Based on the study, seven main components are ideally combined in the teaching of Usul al-Fiqh, offering a coherent framework to link theory with practical application. This research provides a basis for the development of more effective curriculum and teaching strategies in the field of Usul al-Fiqh, as well as paves the way for further research on the integration of contextual methods in the field of Islamic studies. Contextual teaching and learning in Usul al-Fiqh is expected to offer an encouraging solution to improve the quality of Islamic Sharia Education in Malaysia, which has the potential to revive the teaching of this subject and increase its relevance to today's generation of students.
